I started my career in the publishing field, working for a dynamic magazine which focused on entertainment and lifestyle in South Africa.  From there, I moved into publicity, working for a local publisher who not only published local content, but also represented the big six publishers and more. This allowed me to hone the skills I had already begun to work on in the magazine field. In 2005 I went out on my own doing event management which involved not only all aspects of creating and managing events, but also included all the marketing and social media management for them. I also worked hard on getting donations for fundraisers.

Just over a decade ago I branched out and took on the role of marketing director for a small Indie publisher. This allowed me to get back into publishing in a new way, to explore the growing trend of indie publishing, self-publishing, and online promotion. After they closed, I focused on continuing to offer online promotion, editing and proofreading services to authors alongside my event business.

Over the past 10 years since I have continued to grow my business offerings to include marketing, gifting and social media management.
